About Ginger

Ginger Ngo is a Filipina-born Chinese with a very short, rather unimpressive background in typography and print publication. (Forgive her; she is young.) Graduating from Emily Carr University’s Bachelor of Design (Major in Communication Design) 2009, she has spent most of her time fighting uphill battles and constantly trying to keep her sanity as the world continues to jump in and out of bitter and bittersweet moments. In spite of this, she is rather well-liked well-tolerated by both design professionals and students alike.

Her childhood consists of shirtless fathers, roosters tied to cinder blocks, Catholic school, Chinatown, and lots of deep-fried foods. She was also a very fat child. She is bilingual and a half, fluent in English & Tagalog, with small amounts of knowledge in Mandarin and Hokkien. She has also just gotten her first certificate for attending night classes for French 1, as proudly displayed below:

She is currently (still) trying to lose 15 pounds (egads!) and living with a cat.
