About Chloe

Chloe Lan is from a nice little city called Ilan in Taiwan.

Being the youngest of the family, she tends to get away with doing goofy things when she was young. Making a $500 NT Dollar bill (equivalent to about $15 CDN) into a paper boat was considered one of the less original things that she’s done. The rest shall remain a secret. Chloe enjoyed being the one entertaining everyone at the dinner table when she was a kid. She still likes to be different and enjoys making others smile.

Her parents found a cassette tape in her old bedroom recently. They played it and found out that it was an audio Christmas card that Chloe has made for them when she was seven. Apparently, it was never given to them for some odd reason. She said in the tape, “I just think it’s more fun if you can hear me wishing you a Merry Christmas. I don’t want to give you a card anyone can buy…”

In the winter of 1996, Chloe moved to Vancouver with her family. As of now, she’s spent half her life in Taiwan and the other in Canada. She strives to take on challenges and find different ways to problem solve not only in design, but life in general as well. She also believes that having good ideas doesn’t count until you make them happen.

She feels lucky that Ginger’s working together with her on Tea Party and hopes to meet more friends with diverse opinions on interesting things in life and design.

Oh, She also likes orange juice and smoothies.
